Missing Person: C17-182123
On August 15, 2017 at approximately 9:10 p.m., Winnipeg Police were called to the Red River, just north of the Redwood Bridge in regards to a youth male who entered the river. A witness advised that the male swam half way across the river before he disappeared.

Officers conducted an extensive search with the assistance of WFPS Water Rescue and River Patrol which was unsuccessful. General patrol officers further searched the opposite river bank to determine if the male possibly made it across and exited the water however no evidence of this was seen.
