The outstanding vehicle has now been recovered.
   
As previously released:
Robbery – Investigation: C17-15512
On July 15, 2017, at approximately 2:15 a.m., Winnipeg Police General Patrol units responded to a report of a robbery that had just occurred in the area of Grosvenor Street and Wentworth Avenue.
   
The victim, a male in his seventies, was working in the area at the time. He was confronted by two male suspects who demanded his personal property. During the confrontation the victim was assaulted with a weapon and received a serious head wound.
   
The victim's property, as well as his vehicle were stolen. The vehicle is described as a 2009 Dodge Caravan, light grey in colour, with Manitoba licence HGK 236. This vehicle has not been located.
   

The victim was treated in hospital and is in stable condition. The suspects are described as follows:

   
 - Suspect #1: Caucasian male, late teens with a stocky build.
   
 - Suspect #2: Caucasian male, late teens with a thinner build.
   
This investigation is continuing by members of the Major Crimes Unit. Anyone with information that may assist investigators is asked to call 204-986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
