Firearm Investigation – Arrests – C17-86212
 
On April 27th, 2017 at approximately 6:15 a.m., members of the Winnipeg Police Service responded to a report of shots fired at a residence in the 600 block of Government Avenue. Officers confirmed that gunshots had been fired and no injuries were reported.
 
An investigation revealed that a dispute had occurred between two groups at a residence in the 400 block of Bowman Avenue prior to the incident. General Patrol units and the Tactical Support Team were deployed to the area and were able to take a number of individuals into custody from within the residence.
 
Addan Hector Andino-Lopez, a 21-year-old-male, and Jarrett Michael Stevens, a 20-year-old male, were arrested at that time.
 
The investigation continued by members of the Major Crimes Unit and on April 28th, 2017, Matthew Boyd Hudson, a 19-year-old male, was arrested. Two firearms have also been recovered.
 
All three accused are facing numerous criminal code charges including firearm-related offences and have been detained in custody.
