Aggravated Assault Arrest – C17-85624
On April 27, 2017 at approximately 2:00 p.m., emergency personnel responded to the report of an assault that occurred at a residence in the 500 block of Des Meurons Street.
 
Attending officers located a 55-year-old male with serious injuries requiring immediate medical attention. He was transported to hospital in critical condition but has since stabilized.
 
Rhonda Joanne THOMAS, a 31-year-old female of Winnipeg, has been charged with the following offences:
 
- Aggravated Assault
- Uttering Threats
- Possession of a Weapon
 
She has been detained in custody.
 
Firearms Incident – C17-85720
On April 27, 2017 at approximately 4:00 p.m., the Winnipeg Police Service responded to a firearms incident at a single-family residence in the 600 block of Sherburn Street.
 
While officers were on scene, a firearm was discharged within the residence. There were no injuries.
 
An adult male has charged with several firearm offences.
 
He was detained in custody.
