Shots Fired – C16-247965
On November 26, 2016, at approximately 3:00 a.m., Winnipeg Police received reports of gunshots being heard in the area of Donald Street and Stradbrook Avenue. Responding officers discovered two males suffering from what appeared to be gunshot wounds. Both males have been transported to hospital in critical condition.
   
At this time police are still actively investigating this occurrence and are requesting that members of the public avoid the area.
   
Donald Street between McMillian Avenue and River Avenue is presently closed to all traffic. Stradbrook Avenue has been closed to eastbound traffic from Scott Street.
   
This investigation is continuing by members of the Homicide Unit. Anyone with information that may assist investigators is asked to call 204-986-6508 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
