Suspicious Package – C16-177439
On August 26, 2016 at approximately 12:00 p.m., members of the Winnipeg Police Service came into contact with a suspicious item while in the area of Graham Avenue and Garry Street.
   
The area was immediately secured and several roadways were closed to traffic.
   
Members of the WPS Bomb Unit were notified and attended the scene. The item was carefully examined and determined to be safe. No one was injured as a result of this incident.
   
Roadways previously closed have since re-opened.
   
The Winnipeg Police Service would like to thank members of the public for their patience and cooperation while we investigated.
