Robbery Investigation – C16-154961
On July 26, 2016, at approximately 3:45 p.m., Winnipeg Police received a report of a robbery that had just occurred at Grant's Old Mill Park.

The victim was a male in his sixties who utilized a walker for mobility assistance. He was approached by an unknown male who grabbed his arm and demanded money. Before he could respond the victim was assaulted in the upper body and knocked to the ground. An undisclosed amount of money was turned over, however, the suspect continued to assault the victim while he was on the ground. Prior to fleeing the suspect threatened the victim should he contact police.
   
The male suspect is described as:
- Caucasian
- Approximately 6-feet in height
- Spoke with a slight accent (unknown what language)
- Short brown hair
- Dark coloured eyes
- Wearing a blue coloured baseball hat, shorts and a t-shirt
   
This investigation is continuing by members of the West District Crime Unit. Anyone with information that may assist investigators is asked to call 204-986-2877 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
