Suspicious Female – C16-19007
On the morning of January 28, 2016, the Winnipeg Police Service received the report of a suspicious female seen shortly before 9:00 a.m. on January 27th.
   
The 11-year-old victim related that she had been walking in the area of Farmingdale Boulevard and Lindenwood Drive East when a vehicle, with a lone occupant, pulled up beside her.  The driver stated "I'm driving you to school, come on get in, get in."  The victim refused and continued on her way.  The vehicle was last seen turning westbound onto Lindenwood Drive.
   
The driver is described as a black female, approximately 40 years of age with shoulder length black, curly hair.
   
The vehicle is described as being a smaller, four door car, and black in colour.
   
The investigation is continuing by members of the West District Crime Unit. Anyone with information regarding this incident or the identity of the suspect is asked to contact investigators at 204-986-2877 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
