Monday, December 21, 2015 Arson Arrest – C15-267876 On Monday, December 21, 2015, shortly before 10:00 a.m., emergency personnel were dispatched to an apartment block in the 600 block of Toronto Street for the report of a working fire. One female was transported to hospital in stable condition. While emergency personnel remained on scene, a male came forward and confessed to being the one responsible for the fire. Damage is estimated at $400,000.00. A 16-year-old male of Winnipeg has been charged with the following offences for his alleged involvement: Arson Disregard for Human Life Arson Damage to Property Possession of Incendiary Materials He was detained in custody.
