Update - Male Youth Previously Wanted Now In Custody - C15-204117
As previously released on October 28th, 2015 - The Winnipeg Police Service West District Crime Unit has been involved in a lengthy investigation regarding numerous residential break-ins that have occurred in the West District area.

Investigators obtained a Court Order authorizing the release of the identity of a youth suspect sought in connection to this investigation.

A 16-years-old male was identified and public assistance was requested.

As a result of public assistance, officers responded to the 700 block of Pritchard Avenue at approximately 9:20 a.m. today. A short time later, the male youth was taken into custody.

The Winnipeg Police Service would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance.

Media outlets are reminded not to publish the youth's name or photograph any further.
