Monday, September 21, 2015       Officer Involved Shooting   Incident referred to Independent Investigation Unit of Manitoba   On Sunday, September 20, 2015 at approximately 10:30 p.m., members of the Winnipeg Police Service were involved in an incident on Highway 59, just north of Highway 44 that resulted in the death of a male.   The Independent Investigation Unit of Manitoba was contacted by the Winnipeg Police Service Executive and commenced an investigation. This investigation is ongoing. The Winnipeg Police Service will not be commenting further.
