Monday, December 29, 2014     Festive Season Checkstop Program - Week #4 Results The Winnipeg Police Service Central Traffic Unit has provided the results from the fourth week of the Festive Season Check Stop Program.    167 - Vehicles stopped 25 - Approved Screening Device (ASD) tests administered 2 - ASD Fails 7 - Drive Impaired / Drive Over 80mg% / Refusal charges 22 -Traffic related Provincial Offence Notices (PON) issued   The Winnipeg Police Service encourages all motorists to have a plan in place before you go out. Taking a cab, contacting Operation Red Nose or simply identifying a designated driver, are some options to consider.
