STABBING INVESTIGATION UPDATE / ARREST - C13-107268
As previously released, on June 3, 2013 at approximately 10:10 p.m., Patrol members, Air1 and members of the Forensic Identification Unit responded to a residence located in the 500 block of Victor Street regarding a stabbing incident.
 
Officers located a 36 year-old-male with serious upper body injuries. He was transported in critical condition, later upgraded to stable condition.
 
Investigation had revealed that the victim was confronted by a lone male suspect who fled the area in a vehicle.
 
The investigation continued by members of the Major Crimes Unit and a suspect was identified. 
 
On Thursday, July 25, 2013 the suspect was located and arrested without incident.
 
Jose Louis FLORES 40 years of Winnipeg has been charged with Attempted Murder. 

He was detained at the Provincial Remand Centre.
 
 
COMMERCIAL ROBBERY ARREST – C13-128112
As previously released, on Sunday, June 30, 2013 shortly after 12:00 a.m. members of the Winnipeg Police Service were dispatched to a gas bar in the 900 block of Henderson Highway for the report of a commercial robbery.
 
Attending officers met with the attendant who advised that two males, one armed with a weapon demanded and received an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes. 
 
The investigation continued by members of the Major Crimes Unit and as a result the two suspects were identified.
 
On July 5, 2013 Mitchell Grant David GIASSON 19 years of Winnipeg was arrested and charged with: Robbery with weapon, Disguise with intent and Fail to Comply with Condition Recognizance. 

He was detained at the Provincial Remand Centre.
 
Attempts to locate the second suspect continued.
 
On Wednesday, July 25, 2013 Chase Brian William CAMPBELL 18 years of Winnipeg was located and arrested.  He has been charged with: Robbery with weapon, Disguise with intent, Fail to Comply with Condition Recognizance, Breach of Probation x 2 and Failure to comply with sentence. 

He was detained at the Provincial Remand Centre.
 
 
COMMERCIAL ROBBERY ARREST - C13-147125
On Thursday, July 25, 2013 at approximately 2:00 a.m. members of the Winnipeg Police Service were dispatched to a convenience store in the 700 block of Mountain Avenue for the report of a commercial robbery.
 
Responding members met with store employees who advised that a lone male had entered the store, demanded and received an undisclosed amount of cigarettes after which he fled on foot.
 
Neither employee was hurt during the incident.
 
Shortly before 6:00 a.m. the suspect was located in the area of Selkirk Avenue and Parr Street at which time he was arrested without incident.
 
The investigation continued by members of the Major Crimes Unit.
 
Dean Aaron BOULANGER 21 years of Winnipeg has been charged with: Robbery with theft, Breach of Probation & Rail to Comply with Condition Recognizance.
 
He was detained at the Provincial Remand Centre.
