MALE WANTED -  ROY SAMUEL WILLIAMS C12-256228
The Winnipeg Police Service is requesting the public's assistance in locating a male wanted, 33 year old, Roy Samuel WILLIAMS.
 
The investigation pertains to a financial robbery incident that occurred on December 20, 2012 in the area of the 1500 block of Kenaston Boulevard.
 
The investigation is continuing by members of the Major Crimes Unit and an arrest warrant has been issued for WILLIAMS.
 
WILLIAMS is described as: Aboriginal, 6'00" tall, 195 lbs., brown hair, brown eyes, medium build and possible goatee.
 
                               
 
Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact investigators at 204-986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at 204 786-TIPS (8477).
 
 
SUSPICIOUS MALE AND VEHICLE C13-51627
On March 18, 2013 at approximately 9:15 a.m., members of the Winnipeg Police Service responded to a suspicious incident in the area of the 1000 block of Clifton Street.
 
Officers met with an 8 year old female and 9 year old male who advised that they had been approached by an unknown male in a vehicle.
 
The children indicated that the male suspect called them over to his truck and offered them candy. The male was ignored and the children fled the area notifying their caregivers. No contact was made and the children were not injured.
 
The suspect and vehicle is described as: Caucasian male, unshaven, wearing a black toque, driving a white 2 door pick-up truck.
 
The investigation is continuing by members of the District 2 Crime Unit. Anyone with information regarding this matter is asked to contact police at 204-986-2839 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
 
 
SHOTS FIRED C13-52709
On March 20, 2013 at approximately 1:20 a.m., officers responded to the area of the 400 block of Victor Street regarding shots fired into a residence.
 
It has been determined that a firearm discharge took place causing damage to a home which was occupied at the time. No injuries were reported.
 
The investigation is continuing by members of the Major Crimes Unit. Anyone with information regarding this matter is asked to contact police at 204-986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
 
 
COMMERCIAL ROBBERY C13-52673
On March 20, 2013, just after midnight, officers responded to a bar located in the 3000 block of Ness Avenue regarding a robbery that just occurred.
 
The investigation has revealed that three male suspects armed with bear spray entered the business and confronted staff. One of the suspects jumped over the counter and began demanding cash. An undisclosed amount was obtained and the suspects fled the business.  The bear spray was not discharged and no injuries were reported.
 
All three male suspects were described as Aboriginal in appearance, in their early 20's, wearing dark clothing.
 
The investigation is continuing by members of the Major Crimes Unit. Anyone with information regarding this matter is asked to contact police at 204-986-2839 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
