Winnipeg Police Service News Release:

Thursday, November 29, 2012     STRONG ARM ROBBERY – C12-240699 On Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at approximately 7:45 p.m. Uniform patrol members responded to the 1100 block of Grant Avenue regarding a female having been robbed of her property.   Attending members discovered that the victim, 40 years of age was waiting inside a bus shelter when the two suspects entered the shelter and demanded property. When the victim attempted to leave, the suspects blocked the exit and proceeded to rob the victim of cash and property. During the assault upon the victim's upper body, one of the suspects produced a weapon.         The suspects fled the area and the victim was able to summon police.   The victim was transported to hospital in stable condition.   Both suspects are described as: Female, Aboriginal in appearance, approximately 5'8" in height, 160-170 pounds.   The investigation is continuing by members of the District 6 Crime Unit.
