Winnipeg Police Service-News Release:

Sunday, April 29, 2012 12:00 pm   Stabbing                                     C12-77113   On April 28th, 2012 at approximately 8:00 pm, the victim was riding his bicycle in the area of Magnus Avenue, and Charles Street.   He was approached and assaulted by four unknown male suspects. During the assault he sustained a stab wound to his lower body and was transported to hospital in stable condition.   No suspect information is available at this time.   Division 13 Crime Unit is continuing to investigate.     Robbery                                        C12-77625   On April 28th, 2012 at approximately 11:30 pm, the victim was in the area of Kennedy Street and Sargent Avenue. The victim was then assaulted by two unknown males and received injuries to his upper body. The suspects fled after obtaining personal property and as a result of the assault, the victim was transported to hospital in stable condition. No suspect information is available at this time.   Division 11 Crime Unit is continuing to investigate.     Stabbing                                         C12-77408   On April 29th,2012 at approximately 3:00 am the victim was at a residence in the 200 block of Brazier Street. While in the residence an altercation occurred and the victim was stabbed in the upper body. He was transported to hospital in stable condition. No suspect information is available at this time.   Division 14 Crime Unit is continuing to investigate.
